Meet Justin:

Justin Pence was born and raised in Shenandoah County and graduated from Central High School in 1995. Growing up, Justin spent early mornings and late evenings working on his family’s farm, where he was active in 4-H and FFA. Justin’s father, a farmer, and his mother, a speech therapist, taught him at a young age the importance of hard work and the value of a dollar.

Justin went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and Economics at Virginia Tech. Justin has served in various leadership positions during his career, including the following positions he currently holds:

  • Chairman of the Shenandoah County Economic Development Council.
  • Board Member of the Shenandoah Valley Agriculture Foundation.
  • State Director of the Virginia Farm Bureau Federation – representing Page, Frederick, Warren, Rappahannock, Clarke, Loudoun, and Shenandoah Counties.

For 15 years, he has served as Founding Partner & Chief Operating Officer of BluePoint, a national kiosk distributorship founded and based in Shenandoah County.

Justin’s ties to the community run deep. He currently serves as President of the Woodstock River Bandits– of the Valley League– an MLB-sponsored summer league for NCAA baseball players.

Justin is a member of the Chambers of Commerce in Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, Rockingham, and Warren Counties. In 2016 the Shenandoah County Chamber of Commerce awarded Justin as its “Citizen of the Year”.

Justin is also a member of:

  • The Woodstock Moose Lodge.
  • Auxiliary member of Edinburg VFW Post 2447.
  • National Rifle Association, Lifetime Member.

Justin is well known for his BBQ, and you can occasionally find him cooking up a feast for local nonprofit fundraisers. Justin lives on his family farm near Edinburg with his wife, Jamie, their son, Anderson, and their dog, Lenny. Justin and his family are members of Wesley Chapel Methodist Church.
